Your Idea Your Plugin
Imagine an effect or instrument created just for your music. Now ask the Assistant to build it. From the sound to the controls and a custom interface, the Assistant now turns your description into a working plugin, ready to use on your track.
Behind the scenes, the Assistant writes the DSP in Cmajor, compiles it inside Waveform and fixes build errors before loading it. Your controls become fully automatable parameters, and everything is saved as plain files in your project, ready to refine, reuse or share. Keep shaping your plugin simply by describing what you'd like to change.

Mix Analysis
Get feedback grounded in your music. The Assistant renders your mix, individual tracks or a selected time range, then measures loudness, true peak, dynamics, spectral balance, masking and mono compatibility.
Ask why your mix sounds muddy and it identifies the tracks and frequencies responsible. Type /mixcheck to compare your mix with your streaming platform's target. Make an
adjustment and the Assistant can measure again, so you can see exactly what changed and keep moving towards a finished mix.

Loudness Meter
See how your mix measures up with a mastering-grade Loudness Meter. Momentary, short-term and integrated LUFS, loudness range and true peak are displayed against your chosen target, helping you make informed decisions as you prepare for release.
A comprehensive stereo-field view brings together a goniometer, phase correlation with the worst reading held, balance, width and mono compatibility. Channel timing offset and polarity readings help you spot alignment or wiring problems before they reach your final master.

Render & Export
Take your finished music straight to delivery with a completely rebuilt Render window. Exports run in a background queue, pattern-based file names update in a live preview, and LUFS normalising with a true-peak ceiling helps you hit your intended delivery levels.
Waveform Pro's Advanced mode adds flexible stem exports by track, tag, submix or output. Sidechain-accurate processing preserves the relationships within your mix, so every stem sums back to the full mix.

- Choose your AI model: Use AI Profiles to run the Assistant through your ChatGPT subscription without an API key, or with a local model via LM Studio or Ollama.
- Meet Attracktive: Tracktion's synth is now built in and free in every edition, with factory content available through the Download Manager.
- Work with plugins inline: The new Plugins detail editor displays a track's plugins and modifiers together, with drag-to-assign modifiers.
- Access Pattern Generator faster: A new toggle puts it in the Clip detail editor.

The refreshed interface gives Waveform a cleaner, more focused feel, with the cluttered lower properties panel removed and new clip detail editors for quicker editing. An improved colour scheme, refined icons, fresh track icons, a new font, an integrated title bar, and 18 user-definable colours make sessions easier to scan and tailor to your workflow.
Multi-channel Surround
Build immersive sessions with flexible multi-channel routing from capture to final mix. Configure dedicated input and output device busses, record or import multi-channel audio files, and play them back with the control producers and pro musicians need for surround, spatial, and advanced performance workflows. A multi-channel mix bus, plugin support, and expanded Rack routing keep complex productions moving without breaking your creative flow.
ARA2
ARA2 integration now fits deeper into real-world production sessions, giving producers and pro musicians faster access to the editing tools they rely on. Use any ARA-compatible plugin as a time-stretch mode, pass global and chord track information directly to ARA plugins, and keep creative edits intact with proper clip looping, copy, and paste support throughout your arrangement.
